In this episode, Canway Youth president Andre Rayner interviews Doctor Xin Zhou, Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford’s Genetics Department. Dr. Zhou received his B.S. degree from Fudan University, and his PH.D. from the University of Connecticut Health Center & The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, Genetics and Genome.
Dr. Zhou is an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Bacteriology, and Guest Associate Editor of Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, both leading scientific journals.
Dr. Zhou is currently conducting research at Stanford on employing new methods to better understand the moving interactions between the human immune system and the environmental factors such as the microbiome, including the influence of gut
microbiota on psychosocial health.
